Ridgeway House – Five Bathroom Renovations.
Five individually designed bathrooms, completed as part of one extensive renovation.
This project at Ridgeway House involved the complete renovation of five bathrooms within the same property, each with its own individual design, finishes and character.
The aim was to create a collection of bathrooms that felt distinctive and personal to the people using them, while maintaining the same high standard of finish throughout the house. From traditional detailing and freestanding sanitary-ware to bold contemporary tiling and bespoke bathroom furniture, each room presented a different set of requirements.
The Project-
Our team carried out the complete refurbishment of all five bathrooms, managing the project from the initial strip-out through to the final finishing touches.
Working across five very different bathrooms required careful planning and coordination, particularly where bespoke joinery, intricate tile layouts and specialist brassware all came together.
Five Bathrooms, Five Different Personalities
One of the standout aspects of Ridgeway House is that each bathroom was designed with a particular person, purpose and atmosphere in mind.
The family bathroom is the standout space of the project, designed to feel elegant, spacious and timeless. A beautiful freestanding roll-top bath sits beneath the window, framed by soft green wall panelling and complemented by traditional brassware, period-style sanitaryware and warm timber flooring. The bath creates a natural focal point, while the restrained colour palette and traditional detailing give the room a luxurious feel that sits perfectly within the character of the property.
The son’s bathroom makes a statement with deep blue walls and striking herringbone tiles, complemented by traditional white sanitary-ware and brass fittings. The darker palette gives the room a bold, sophisticated feel while retaining the period character found throughout the property.
In contrast, the daughter’s bathroom has a softer and more playful character. Delicate pink finishes, scalloped tiles, warm brassware and a decorative statement basin create a space that feels completely individual to her.
The first guest bathroom was designed as a peaceful retreat, using soft green tones, traditional detailing and carefully selected finishes to create a calm and welcoming space for visitors.
The second guest bathroom takes its inspiration in an entirely different direction. Rich botanical leaf tiles transform the shower area into a tropical escape, with dark tones, brass detailing and a walk-in shower creating an immersive and luxurious space.
Rather than repeating the same design throughout the property, each bathroom was given its own identity. From the elegant family bathroom to the children’s individually styled spaces and two contrasting guest bathrooms, the result is a collection of rooms that feel personal and distinctive while still belonging together as part of the same home.
